Funded Programs

USTA Serves applauds the NTJL of Trenton in Trenton, N.J., for its steady focus on preparing the next generation for success and proudly supports this program through grants to build lives through tennis and education.

NJTL of Trenton serves more than 2,400 young people, a majority of whom live in poverty and are at-risk. The organization provides these kids with year-round, free access to Nutrition, Education, and Tennis Support (NETS) programs that produce life-changing experiences.

Some of these programs include a childhood obesity/health initiative, a life-skills and tennis program, an Academic Creative Engagement (ACE) program focusing on literacy, math and nutrition, a seven-week summer tennis and enrichment camp, and an Ashe Elite program that provides advanced tennis training and three $5,000 college scholarship stipends.
