Carol dreamed of creating a tennis and education community center in an underserved neighborhood in Los Angeles.

The Kimmelman Family Foundation, in partnership with the USTA and the USTA Foundation (collectively the USTA), the TGR Foundation (A Tiger Woods Charity), and Winward Academy are developing LuLu's Place. The state-of-the-art, nonprofit tennis facility is being designed to accommodate all levels of tennis instruction and play from beginner "short courts" to professional training, including a fully equipped fitness center. The Campus will provide free, and low cost access to the community, will host college matches, USTA league play, and will be wheelchair accessible. USTAF will spearhead the community engagement program with partner TGR Foundation.

LuLu's Place will be a bricks-and-mortar legacy to Carol's commitment to help all children, but especially those with the fewest resources, get access to the highest quality teachers, coaches, curriculum, and facilities to put them on a path to college and career success.
