Transforming lives since 1969.
Our National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) network is inspired by the legendary Arthur Ashe’s firmly-held belief that tennis is the world’s greatest teacher, and helps create pathways for young people to explore opportunities they may have never thought possible.
Carrying on the legacy of visionaries.
More than 50 years ago, three friends shared a dream. Arthur Ashe, Charlie Pasarell, and Sheridan Snyder started NJTL to bring the life lessons that tennis teaches to as many young Americans as possible.
Today, the NJTL network is the core initiative of the USTA Foundation.
Our support fuels the program’s expansion to more young people in more communities, and the founding principles of education, opportunity, and equity continue to guide us.
