Join Legends of the Game in New York - September 8-9, 2022

The USTA Foundation hosted its 19th annual event on the courts of the US Open on Friday, September 9, 2022 , featuring the legends and current champions of the game.

The 2022 edition, held on Sept. 9, raised more than $500,000. Funds raised continue the Foundation's mission to fund tennis, education and health programming for hundreds of community based, grassroots programs across the country benefiting thousands of youth.  

Twenty amateur tennis players had the opportunity to hit with numerous legend participants including Tracy Austin, James Blake, Bob Bryan, Mike Bryan, Kim Clijsters, Lindsay Davenport, Mary Joe Fernandez, Jan-Michael Gambill, Brad Gilbert, Vania King, Robbie Koenig, Christina McHale, Nick Monroe, Arantxa Sanchez, Alexandra Stevenson and Mark Woodforde. Current champions included: Marcelo Arevalo, Will Blumberg, Richard Ciamarra, Julie Rojer, and Edouard Roger Vasselin.

 

The Pro-Am included lunch in a luxury suite and an afternoon watching the men’s doubles final and men’s semifinals.  Pro-Am amateurs and their guests enjoyed suite visits and Q&A with 2009 US Open Champion Juan Martin del Potro.
