The 2019 Pro-Am at the US Open, held on September 6th, raised more than $450,000. Funds raised continue the Foundation's mission to fund tennis, education and health programming for hundreds of community based, grassroots programs across the country benefiting thousands of youth.
Twenty Pro-Am participants, many of whom return to compete year after year, enjoyed an experience of a lifetime by trading backhands and return serves with some of the greatest champions of all time including: Tracy Austin, James Blake, Darren Cahill, Pat Cash, Lindsay Davenport, Mary Joe Fernandez, Jan Michael Gambill, Brad Gilbert, Liezel Huber, Luke Jensen, Murphy Jensen, Mark Knowles, Robby Koenig, Mark Philippoussis, Richey Reneberg, Chanda Rubin, Vince Spadea, Jeff Tarango, Arantxa Sánchez Vicario and Mark Woodforde. Ivan Zinn took home the winner’s trophy for his inaugural Pro-Am at the US Open win.
Following a morning of spirited competition, participants enjoyed lunch in a luxury suite, behind-the-scenes tours of Ashe Stadium, meet and greets with several pros and an afternoon watching amazing tennis including the men’s semifinals.
