For the fourth consecutive year, Chase has committed $100,000 to support the sport of tennis through the USTA’s tennis and educational initiatives.

Chase has teamed up with the USTA Foundation to award 10 outstanding National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) chapters with a $10,000 grant each. The money will go toward year-round tennis and education programming that engages kids in the A.C.E. (Academic Creative Engagement) curriculum.

The longtime US Open sponsor will also help each NJTL grant recipient host a #ReturnTheServe Fun Day on Friday, July 14. The event, which will celebrate each chapter’s programming and its impact on youth, will have various tennis-related activities for NJTL youth participants and their families to enjoy.

“Chase has been an outstanding supporter and partner of the USTA Foundation, and we can't thank them enough for these generous grants,” said Dan Faber, Executive Director, USTA Foundation. “We are fortunate to have Chase continue to invest in our participants on and off the tennis court. Our partnership with Chase helps deserving youth to excel academically, through tennis, and ultimately through life.”

The following NJTL chapters each will receive a $10,000 grant:
  • A's and Aces – New Orleans
  • Dallas Tennis Association – Addison, Texas
  • First Break Academy – Los Angeles
  • MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation – Jacksonville, Fla.
  • Metropolitan Tennis & Education Group – Upper Marlboro, Md.
  • Houston Tennis Association – Houston
  • New York Junior Tennis & Learning – Woodside, N.Y.
  • Portland After-School Tennis & Education – Portland, Ore.
  • The ACE Project – Riverdale, Ill.
  • Youth Tennis Advantage – San Francisco
“It’s important that we equip our kids with the skills they need to succeed at a young age, most importantly through education and physical activity,” said Barbara Paddock, managing director for sports and entertainment at JPMorgan Chase. “As a sponsor of the US Open for 36 years, we’re proud to support the USTA Foundation and its NJTL programs’ mission to help today’s youth build confidence, camaraderie and ultimately pursue their dreams.”
