Following a successful first wave, the USTA Foundation is proud to announce that some of biggest celebrities in sports and entertainment have offered up new items and exclusive experiences for the We Serve Together charity auction to benefit National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) chapters affected by COVID-19.
Some of the packages up for auction include four tickets to Luke Bryan's upcoming concert tour, complete with a meet-and-greet opportunity; four owner's row tickets to a Miami Marlins game, complete with airfare and a signed baseball from former Yankees star and current Marlins owner Derek Jeter; New York Mets and Yankees tickets; and a signed jersey from 2019 NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo.
More signed tennis memorabilia is also up for bidding, including a jumbo US Open tennis ball signed by Serena Williams; autographed items from Novak Djokovic commemorating his 2011 and 2015 US Open championships; and a signed package of items from other US Open winners Andy Murray, Sloane Stephens, Angelique Kerber, Samantha Stosur and Flavia Pennetta.
The opportunity is again available for interested supporters to either bid on auction items or donate directly to the cause. Those who contribute donations of $250 or more will receive a signed photo from 18-time Grand Slam champion and current USTA Foundation chairperson Chris Evert.
The proceeds from the auction will provide critical resources for underserved youth across the country who participate in NJTL programming. These resources will allow over 250 grassroots chapters that have been affected by the pandemic to continue to provide education, physical activity, and nutritious meals for their student-athletes.
