RAISE A RACQUET / US Open Fan Week Event

(Traditionally held before the first week of the US Open)

The USTA Foundation is working on plans for 2021 Raise a Racquet, which is traditionally held the week before the US Open starts. (Raise a Racquet was not held in 2020 due to COVID-19.) Please contact us directly at foundation@usta.com or 914-696-7223 for details on sponsorships or participation.

The 2019 Raise a Racquet, presented by ESPN, was held on August 21 at Town Tennis Club in New York City, kicking off US Open celebrations during Fan Week for the USTA Foundation and its supporters. USTAF Chairperson Chris Evert and ESPN's Mike Greenberg held a lively Q&A featuring the Bryan Brothers and helped raise additional funds during the live auction. Excellence Teams students from two local National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) chapters, NYJTL and Harlem Junior Tennis and Education Program, demonstrated their exceptional talent on the court.
