USTA Serves celebrated the 2011 US Open with its 11th annual Opening Night Gala, honoring the legendary Tony Bennett and ABC Good Morning America broadcaster Robin Roberts.
We had the winning combination: Tony, Robin, NYC Mayors Bloomberg and Dinkins, U.S. Senator Gillibrand, Billie Jean King, Mary Carillo, Martina Navratilova, Jim Courier and 180 special friends and supporters who helped us raise $500,000, including celebrity auctioneer Alec Baldwin, who raised $62,000 in just 12 minutes!
All of this will enable us to reach 220,000 at-risk youth and people with disabilities through the powerful combination of tennis and education. Read the full press release
