Dad's Court 10 at Holiday Park in Fort Lauderdale was a place where he instilled character and taught life lessons through the language of tennis.

The Jimmy Evert Merit Scholarship supports after-school academic tutoring, college counseling and advanced tennis training through clinics, private lessons and camps for youth from NJTL chapters, primarily Excellence Teams' participants, across the country. The Jimmy Evert Merit Scholarships are granted by the USTA Foundation to NJTL chapters, for student athletes identified by the Foundation together with USTA Player Development and the Evert Family, that are aligned with the mission of the fund.

For all of our recipients, the Jimmy Evert Merit Scholarship represents a significant chance to become Champions in Life. With your help, we have the opportunity to invest in the lives of young people and create the same positive impact that our father had on each one of his students. The Evert Family thanks you for considering to help our father's legacy live on and make the Jimmy Evert Merit Scholarship our version of dad's Court 10 at Holiday Park.
