The USTA Foundation believes in giving back, in supporting programs that utilize tennis and education to build brighter futures and more vibrant communities, and to support students who have excelled as they pursue a college education.
 
To date, we have awarded more than $25 million in grants and scholarships to hundreds of programs, benefitting thousands of children throughout the country.
 

GRANTS

The USTA Foundation awards grants to programs that support under-resourced youth through tennis and education programs designed to improve health, build character and strive for academic excellence.  Priority is given to registered National Junior Tennis & Learning (NJTL) chapters that offer formal educational curricula, such as the ACE Curriculum, improved tennis delivery, and implementation of USTA products. Please review the current grant guidelines before submission. 

The USTA Foundation has launched a new grants management software. The new system allows for a more user-friendly experience. In order to access the Program Grant application, you must first regster with the new software. 

  1. Go to https://usta.fluxx.io/.
  2. From the right side of the screen, follow the link to apply for a scholarship or grant. You will be redirected to the Welcome to the USTA Foundation Funding Portal Registration landing page. 
  3. From this page, navigate to the field Are you applying as an individual or organization?, and click Organization from the drop-down menu.
  4. Please complete as many fields as possible, and note that the fields in bold are required. Then, click the Submit Request button at the end of the page.

The Program Grant cycle runs Monday, October 2, 2017 through Friday, November 3, 2017.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Each year, the USTA Foundation awards college scholarships to deserving youth who have participated in USTA National Junior Tennis & Learning (NJTL) and/or other organized youth tennis programs.
 
To date, the USTA Foundation has awarded more than $5 million in college scholarships and player incentive awards to more than 1,000 middle school students and high school seniors.
 
The 2017 Scholarship Award application is now closed.
