USTA Foundation partners with Chase to award over $250,000 to help support young people on and off the court

For the 13th consecutive year, the USTA Foundation has partnered with longtime sponsor Chase to award 12 community organizations nationwide over $250,000 in grants to support year-round tennis, education, and mentorship programs. 

This year, more than 24,000 young people from under-resourced communities will be impacted by these grants, allowing them the opportunity to access programs and services that can help prepare them for life on and off the tennis court. To date, Chase has awarded more than $2 million to select community organizations supported by the USTA Foundation. 

“We’ve always believed in the power of sport to unlock opportunity,” said Meghan Brady, Executive Director, Sports & Entertainment Marketing at JPMorganChase. “For 13 incredible years, our work with the USTA Foundation has brought tennis and education together, helping young people build financial literacy, confidence and life skills that extend far beyond the court.” 

The following community-based organizations will receive a Chase Return the Serve grant:

● Advantage Cleveland – Cleveland 

● Sloane Stephens Foundation – Compton, Calif. 

● Dallas National Junior Tennis & Learning – Dallas

● Denver Tennis Park – Denver 

● MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation – Jacksonville, Fla. 

● Pete Brown Junior Tennis Program – Los Angeles 

● First Serve Miami – Miami 

● InnerCity Tennis Foundation – Minneapolis 

● PASS (Programs for Afterschool Success) – Phoenix 

● East Palo Alto Tennis and Tutoring – San Francisco
