USTA Foundation teams up with La Roche-Posay for events at select NJTL chapters
Not only is May National Tennis Month, it’s also Melanoma Awareness Month – a time to raise awareness about melanoma, the most dangerous form of skin cancer, and promote early detection and prevention measures.
As the weather warms up and more people hit the outdoor courts, the USTA Foundation recently teamed up with skincare brand La Roche-Posay to host community events with select NJTL chapters across the country featuring tennis, education, and sun protection awareness.
Held May 2-4 in Chicago, Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles and New York, these events featured interactive, on-court tennis activities for all ages, Anthelios Kids Gentle Sunscreen with SPF 50 and Anthelios UV Pro Sport Sunscreen SPF 50 products and giveaways from La Roche-Posay, and complementary skin checks for adults by licensed dermatologists to promote early detection and prevention of skin cancer.
