We award scholarships to deserving young people who have participated in organized youth tennis programs like the USTA Foundation’s chapter network, have demonstrated high academic achievement, and require financial assistance for college matriculation.

We grow access to tennis by refurbishing courts in under-resourced communities so that young people and their families have places to play.
College Success Scholarship
This scholarship is for students already enrolled in college, took a gap year, or are returning to school after time away.
College & Career Pathways
We offer scholarships to young people who dream of attending college or post-secondary education, and we offer career pathway programs.

What is it?
This award is for high-school seniors preparing to enter college or university for the first time, and who participated in one of our chapters.
Financial Support
We provide program grants to support NJTLs' direct programming efforts to help these organizations grow and make an impact.
What is awarded?
Generous donors make this program possible through various named awards that are given based off a student's financial need and merit.
Leadership & Vision
We advise NJTLs on effective organizational development by offering support, training, and best practices for leaders and coaches.
How many are available?
While students apply through a single process, the selection committee will determine the best fit for each recipient from these named scholarships.
For how long is it paid?
All awards are multi-year scholarships, will be distributed evenly over four years, and will be paid directly to the student’s college or university of choice.

College Success Scholarship
This scholarship is for students already enrolled in college, those who took a gap year, or those returning to school after time away.

This award supports those not previously part of our scholarship program who are committed to finishing degrees.

Awards are multi-year, with the number of years determined by the number of years a student has remaining until graduation.
Leadership & Vision
We advise NJTLs on effective organizational development by offering support, training, and best practices for leaders and coaches.
Who is eligible?
Alumni of our chapters or other tennis programs, or those with a connection to a chapter from volunteering or employment.

What else to know?
Priority in applications is given to NJTL alumni first, but all eligible young people may apply for this award.
